Hero Stories for bracelet

Why I wear a HeroBracelet memorial bracelet.

I've never had a family member in the military. Nor do I personally know anyone currently serving in Iraq or Afghanistan. But I wear a HeroBracelet memorial bracelet in the name of young Marine from California. I never knew him or his family. But he died serving a country that has given me much. I just want others to know about him. People ask me about my memorial bracelet often and I tell them what I know about this young Marine. I encourage others to wear a memorial bracelet to honor these ...

HeroBracelets.org on Huffington

James Moore, writer and political corespondent recently wrote about HeroBracelets in a posting on www.huffingtonpost.com. We thank him for his interest in HeroBracelets.org. You can see the original posting HERE. ------------- Called to the Colors There is a place you can go to feel the war in Iraq. You can't experience it living in everyday America. We are shopping and playing golf and watching soap operas and complaining about the price of gas but we don't feel this war. Those of us who don...

Memorial Bracelets keep memories alive.

Dear HeroBracelets, We ordered your memorial bracelets in the name of a boy that grew up the street from us. We had know Johnathan since he was little and always thought the world of him. He grew into a wonderful young man and joined the Army two years ago. We lost him in Iraq and we felt like we lost a member of our own family. We all ordered memorial bracelets from your website and wear them daily. It truly is a wonderful way to remember him. And people ask us about the memorial bracelets a...

A better Memorial bracelet.

Dear HeroBracelets.org, I had ordered a memorial bracelet a few months back from another website and, while I was happy to have the memorial bracelet, I was unhappy with the way it was made. The aluminum was thin and had rough edges. As it got beat up, I started looking for a better memorial bracelet and found HeroBracelets.org. I'm now very happy with the memorial bracelet I received. It's made of a much better quality, the edges are not rough and it's quite comfortable. Thank you HeroBracel...

A mothers son goes to Iraq, part 8

We've been very fortunate to get this ongoing series of messages and photos from Melody Pigg about her son Marshall, who is currently deployed in Iraq. Marshall sent us cameras from Iraq! The poor people at Walgreens probably got tired of me hovering over them anxiously waiting to see these pictures. Here's a few of them for you to enjoy. One of them is of the sunset, two of them are of the very barren looking landscape, and the last one is of Marshall. It was so nice to see a picture of him....

A mothers son goes to Iraq, part 7.

I heard from Marshall today. He's doing very well. Despite the heat and constant stress of a hostile environment, he still has a good attitude and is confident that he made the right decision about joining the Marines. For security reasons, he's unable to discuss anything about what he's doing in the sandbox, so he likes to discuss what he wants to do when he returns to the states and when he gets out of the Marine Corps. We bought Marshall a 1982 Chevy Silverado Pickup for Christmas when he ...
