Sgt. 1st Class Edgar N. Roberts, 39, of Hinesville, Georgia, died August 17, 2010, at the National Naval Medical Center, Bethesda, Maryland, of wounds sustained June 26 at Sayed Abad, Afghanistan, when insurgents attacked his unit using an improvised explosive device. Sgt. 1st Class Roberts was assigned to 810th Engineer Company (SAPPER), Swainsboro, Georgia.
