John J. Malone
Lance Cpl. John J. Malone, 24, of Yonkers, New York, died September 24, 2009, while supporting combat operations in Farah province, Afghanistan. Lance Cpl. Malone was assigned to 2nd Battalion, 3rd Marine Regiment, 3rd Marine Division, III Marine Expeditionary Fore, based out of Marine Corps Base Hawaii, Kaneohe Bay, Hawaii.
