Our Hero, Cpl Kevin W. Prince.

I am writing to you today about our hero, Cpl. Kevin W. Prince. Kevin joined the Army in the summer of 2002 to fight for his country and to get a college education so he could make a difference in this world. Kevin graduated boot camp at Fort Benning, Georgia, and then was stationed out at Fort Irwin in the Mojave Desert in California. He really enjoyed the camaraderie of his fellow soldiers and always had their backs. He stood up for what was right and for what he believed in. Kevin was called up to go to Iraq in January 2005. He bravely accepted his mission in life. Kevin was in Iraq for 3 months when the Humvee he was doing a patrol in was hit by an IED. Kevin died of injuries sustained in this attack. He will be forever remembered for his sense of humor, charm, loyalty and courage. He was a wonderful son, brother and friend whom we miss more than words can say.
