Memories of a POW bracelet.

I wore a Vietnam bracelet for many years. It was one of the first in issue. It had black in the lettering after they engraved it. It lasted all of the years I wore it. The soldier that I wore it for did come back. I watched him come off the plane. He was from Orange Co, FL. I sent it to him, with a letter letting him know he was with me everyday. He called me and we cried over the phone and he told me that that bracelet now means so very much to him. I never heard from him again. But that one phone call stays with me to this very day.
